Push-Pull Cable Assemblies

LEMO is the acknowledged leader in the design and manufacture of precision custom connection and cable solutions. LEMO's high quality Push-Pull connectors are found in a variety of challenging application environments including medical, industrial control, test and measurement, audio-video and telecommunications.

With Push-Pull locking this connection secures itself – and so it remains protected from unwanted demating. It does not open until it should: when the user simply pulls back the outer sleeve on the connector.  Thanks to the robust construction and proven ODU contact technology, performance and quality are maintained throughout many thousands of mating cycles.  The product range in the Push-Pull circular connector area comprises four versions: ODU MINI-SNAP, ODU AMC (Advanced Military Connector) with a robust metal housing and ODU MEDI-SNAP and ODU MINI-SNAP PC with a plastic housing.

Fischer Connectors is a manufacturer of rugged circular push-pull electrical and fibre optic connectors. Founded in 1954, its headquarters and production centre are based in Switzerland, with subsidiaries located worldwide.  In 1972, the company introduced the first push-pull triaxial TV connector series known as 1051, which found widespread adoption for the connection of professional broadcast cameras and control units in studios, outside and location filming. First used by Philips, the Fischer triax connector types have then been globally adopted by many other camera manufacturers. Still in use today, triax connectors and cables can either transmit standard definition (SD) or high definition (HD) video pictures.
